NOTE FROM TOBACCO ROW

My company is expanding! We have accepted the bids of
two more tobacco companies! We haven't hired anyone,
though. It is hard to get people to work here. Makes
me feel great knowing I was all pumped when I started
here.

(flashback two years ago this week)

"Mom, I got a job in New York," I gleefully announced
into the phone from the airport."

"Oh that's wonderful. Your father will be so proud.
What will you be doing?"

"I dunno. Some place that does ads and marketing for
tobacco."

"Well, nothing is permanent in life."
